Chris Haseleu, the Kalix CEO, is excited to announce a new Mission, Vision, and Values statement for Kalix and MVW Services. The impact of these changes started in December of 2024 and resulted in multiple responses and feedback from people within and outside of the organization. Our history since 1960 has shaped us an organization and today we continue to focus on PEOPLE through compassion, inclusion, and impactful support. We recognize the impact we have across North Dakota and value all six hundred people that are employed or utilize services within Kalix or MVW Services. We look forward to today and our future by providing purpose for all.

Chris Haseleu

Blaine DesLauriers, Board Chair, announced that Chris Haseleu has been named the next CEO of Kalix, effective upon the retirement of Borgi Beeler on September 13, 2024.  Borgi took the CEO position in 2007, and her departure follows a 39-year career at Kalix.  Blaine commented, “the Board thanks Borgi for her leadership during the last 17 years and looks forward to continued success with Chris at the helm.”

Haseleu joined Kalix in February and has been serving as Chief Operating Officer.  Haseleu said he looks forward to “improving the lives and [expanding] services for people in North Dakota so they can be active participants within their communities.” He is committed to the Kalix mission:  privacy, dignity, and purpose for all people.

Before arriving at Kalix, Haseleu served as the Executive Director at Minot Health and Rehab.  He has an extensive history in healthcare administration and brings valuable experience to Kalix from numerous leadership roles, from direct patient care to facility operations.  Haseleu is originally from Fargo, where he attended North Dakota State University and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN). He worked as a Registered Nurse for five years before going on to earn his Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Mary in Bismarck. He then completed a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership in 2022. Haseleu is happy to call Minot home with his wife and two children.
