Provide quality control checks of client money management system.
Complete routine reports required for entitlement benefits, medicaid, medicare, food stamps, and bank accounts.
File and maintain appropriate records regarding client financial matters.
Assistance with development and maintenance of computer applications regarding client accounts and agency accounting.
Assistance with cost reports, budgets, quarterly reports, and other financial reports.
Enter data on the computerized accounting system and supplemental financial records.
Review census information, prepare invoices and statements, record income and cash receipts.
Enter general ledger entries from source documents.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Knowledge of entitlement benefits including accessing and reporting.
Ability to operate a computer.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Ability to type and operate a ten-key adding machine.
This person must have a high school diploma or GED and two years of relevant experience or education. Experience with computers is preferred.
