How to Donate

Kalix is a 501(c)(3) organization and is qualified to accept tax deductible charitable contributions under the Internal Revenue Code.  All donations are much appreciated, and are an essential part of the annual budget. 

Donation Options:

• Donate online through the Impact Foundation.

• Send a check any time (please write “donation” on the check).  If your donation is a memorial or in honor of somebody special, include a note with the appropriate information and we will send a letter of acknowledgement as indicated.

• Make a contribution to the Kalix Endowment Fund at the Minot Area Community Foundation.  Contributions to the Endowment Fund that total at least $5,000 during a calendar year are eligible for the North Dakota Tax Credit (40% credit back on state taxes in addition to the federal deduction!).  For more information contact the Minot Area Community Foundation or read up on MACF endowment funds.  Click here for more information about MACF and an example for taxpayers in the 28% federal bracket. 

Donation Events:

Currently, Kalix is raising funds for an accessible vehicle to provide transportation for individuals that utilize wheelchairs.
