Congregate Care 

KALIX has one home for people who are elderly or who need intensive health supports.  Many people who live here choose to not work and live a retirement lifestyle.  Twelve people  live in this home.  Staff support is available 24/7. Services offered are focused on community activities, health supports, planning and structuring leisure time. People are supported in the areas of cooking, cleaning, finance, and safety.

The agency has transportation available to assist people to appointments, shopping, banking and other leisure activities in which people participate.   KALIX utilizes mobility vans to safely transport people who utilize wheelchairs.  In addition to safe driving classes, staff are required to become certified in proper procedures for securing people and wheelchairs in the van.
