According to legend, KALIX’s cookie business was born over twenty years ago as a result of a challenge from a local banker who eventually became governor of North Dakota .  The CEO of KALIX made an unflattering comment regarding the quality of the cookies offered to customers.  The banker wondered if KALIX could do better… and the rest is history.
