Production and Contract Employees

Production & Contract employees work on a job site and perform work tasks according to customer specifications.   

Many employees at job sites have a disability and are eligible for job coaching services.  Others have a qualifying disability, but are not eligible for job coaching.  Others are not disabled. 

Job carving and job accommodation are utilized in order to give employees with disabilities the opportunity to be successful.  Job carving means that a position can be designed to include tasks based on the abilities of a specific person.  Job accommodation means that the environment, equipment, or schedule may be modified to fit the needs of the employee. 

All employees are required to participate in maintaining a positive work environment, treat co-workers respectfully, utilize “people first” language, and preserve confidentiality.
